Waking up to views to die for, Darren and Georgios sipped champagne in their room at the Shangri-la at the Shard before preparing to seal their love on a yacht in the city where it all started: London. Gay wedding photographer, Emir Hasham, captured their day on camera.
They wore matching suits, contrasting the ties as a nod to their gorgeous colour theme.
Then, leaving together by car, they drove to Embankment to board their immaculate, Art Deco styled luxury yacht, the London Eye Barracuda.
Hues of greens, dusky pinks and whites added subtle layers of luxe to this truly elegant setting...From the green silken ring cushions and the signage to the linen tissue envelopes and table decor, every little detail had been thoroughly thought-through, and pristinely planned and presented to celebrate their love story and conjure a strong element on fun.
It was in London that Darren and Georgios first met, and as they cruised down the Thames and through the city that sealed their love, it was the perfect place for them to say “I do”.
Then came the wedding breakfast – an incredible three-course feast.
The wedding cake, by award winning wedding cake maker Sweetness and Delight, was a fabulous tribute of the 1920s Art Deco era.
Then they partied into the night, sailing past some of London’s most iconic landmarks
