Clare works with seasonal flowers and foliage to create bouquets, buttonholes and table arrangements that are just a little bit different. She loves colour and texture, traditional and modern styling and gets her inspiration from European floral design, vintage couture, jewellery, English gardens and natural materials.
Clare also makes botanical jewellery , wearable pieces made with fresh flowers which add a real wow factor to a look; she can even combine her floristry and sewing skills to create floral embellishments directly onto your wedding clothes. We like! Maybe you're just looking for buttonholes or perhaps you've got the full floral works in mind , whatever your vision for your day, Clare will work with you to accessorise your wedding with flowers.
There's so much more scope for creativity when people aren't expecting the usual format for a wedding. People are unique , their wedding flowers should be too.
I try to use flowers and foliage that reflect the couple a little , their backgrounds or hobbies, favourite flowers etc., and I love including things from my own garden. I'm a massive fan of texture so there'll always be lots of that in anything I create too.
There's nothing more exciting than getting a delivery of wedding flowers into my studio and seeing it all come together after all the planning: the colours, the flowers themselves, the overall look and feel. I love seeing the difference flowers can make to the feel of a venue. It may already be a beautiful place, but add some flowers and you've suddenly got a wedding on your hands.
