Based in the Gay Capital of Europe, Liza is a people-loving, adventure coveting, laid back Brighton wedding photographer with more than five years experience.
Mad for road trips, cosy pubs, long, ambling walks with her dog and beautiful girlfriend, and singing in the Rainbow Chorus, she specialises in capturing the incidental, emotional, nervous, candid and crazy party moments that tell of the whole story wedding day in a very natural way.
As a gay wedding photographer who is out and proud... I absolutely love shooting gay or LGBTQ+ weddings. You know how it is...it's kind of liking feeling really at home, like you belong. Like family.
I take real pride in shooting gay or LGBTQ+ weddings. Some people say there is no difference between the wedding photographer photographing a gay or straight wedding. I know there shouldn't be but there is! For starters, we either have two brides or two grooms! That does make arranging composition slightly different.
Pre-wedding prep is often done together rather than separately. I know that couples can sometimes feel self-conscious in front of friends or family. Some of you may feel nervous about kissing your partner in front of your family...or PDA. I'll make sure we take photos where you feel safe and at ease.
I am always thinking about light, composition and the moment. Seeking out great light first then finding my composition, and waiting for the moment. I'm not afraid to take risks!
Seeing couple's reaction when they see their photos the first time.
I LOVE to travel and the thought of a destination wedding does make me tingle with excitement! I frequently shoot weddings in New Zealand and Australia during the "Downunder" wedding season.
So shout out if you are getting married Downunder Dec/Jan I may be able to slot your wedding date into my schedule at no extra travel cost.
I am always up for shooting in London and the home counties (normal rates apply @ no extra travel cost). If you are getting married a little further afield in the UK or Europe I charge a bit extra to cover travel and accommodation expenses.
