The Queen's Garden is an enclosed garden that lies directly next to the palace. Perfect for summer wedding receptions, its gorgeous 17th-century style offers an exquisite back drop for wedding photos. Situated next to the riverside, it includes a gazebo, Florentine sculpture, and a 'mount' crowned with a rotunda. Only plants and herbs known in the 17th century are grown in this garden. Queen Charlotte's Cottage is full of charm close to the palace, this cottage was created as a rustic retreat for royal picnics. It features a beautiful terracotta-tiled floor and a Print Room in which hang 150 satirical engravings. Upstairs, George III's daughter, Elizabeth, decorated the walls and ceiling with paintings of trailing nasturtiums and convolvulus.
