One of Cardiff's most unique wedding venues, the Temple of Peace is an iconic Grade II listed secular building with beautiful Art Deco interiors, locally sourced food and a strong worldly ethic that gives is a heart of gold. It's even been featured in Sherlock and Doctor Who.

    A Venue with a Heart

Located in Cardiff city centre, the Temple of Peace first opened in 1938 and stands out as the venue with a heart. It is a Grade II listed building, is home to the Welsh Centre of International Affairs (WCIA) and is recognised as a symbol of Wales' concern for international peace: all profits generated from booking the Temple's Marble Hall go straight back into the WCIA. By choosing the Temple as a venue, you become part of its great history and support the WCIA's charitable work.

    Art Deco Wedding

The Temple of Peace is one of Cardiff's most unique wedding venues. It features a marble reception, an Art Deco marble hall boasting impressive pillars, lighting and 34ft windows, and offers complete flexibility for customising, decorating and creating the vision you've always dreamed of for your big day. It's the perfect platform for a wedding and able to accommodate all tastes.

"We want all our couples to have a truly special day, and we'll do our utmost to make sure that their wedding is as personal, intimate or lavish as they wish, whatever their budget. " Emily - Wedding & Events Manager

The Temple of Peace works with some of the city's best culinary talents, teaming up with different caterers to meet your needs, whether you're looking for 'peasant with panache' or high-end alternatives. These professional chefs create evolving seasonal menus using the finest local produce.
