Number of Guests2 - 150
Designed by Inigo Jones as a 'house of delight' for James I's Queen, The Queen's House is a royal retreat like no other and a masterpiece of 17th century architecture. Set in the leafy surroundings of Royal Greenwich Park, it offers exceptional views across Greenwich's historic gardens, the River Thames and Canary Wharf, and now as a unique wedding venue in London, it continues to be a place for celebrations.
Your Wedding Spaces
The Great Hall - featuring its original black and white geometric marble floor, gold-leaf ceiling reliefs and views out to the Thames, the Great Hall is truly spectacular and can host up to 120 people for ceremonies and receptions.
The Orangery and Parlours - opening out onto the lawns and glorious views over the Royal Greenwich Park and up to the Royal Observatory, The Orangery and South Parlours are ideal for more intimate weddings and receptions of up to 50 guests. Fine art hangs from the walls, and the vast windows flood it with natural, warm light from the South.
Undercroft - once your wedding ceremony and breakfast are finished, head to the Undercroft for an evening of dancing and entertainment. Sitting directly beneath the Great Hall, this vaulted, atmospheric space is perfect for partying the night away, and can accommodate a further 30 guests.
The Queen's House is a dry hire, exclusive use venue, but hire includes dedicated support from the operations manager and venue staff, a PA system, uplighters, banqueting furniture and a cake table, and five car parking spaces. Staff will also be happy to share their extensive list of catering, entertainment and wedding supplier contacts to help you create your perfect day.
"We are very collaborative and want to make sure everyone feels that they are special and are bespoke in their needs for an amazing day to remember.
